This activity is meant to challenge students in identifying, researching, and delivering a group effort presentation on an Italian contemporary econarratives or environmental issue. It has a two-fold structure: a written document to assess their writing skills in the target language and their acquisition of new lexicon and linguistic nuances to discuss EH topics and a presentational/performative delivery in class with a strong participatory approach. Open to intersect a wide array of interests and disciplinary lines by providing students tools to bridge personal and collective experiences inside or outside classrooms. It was intended for culture-based upper-division courses for majors/minors in Italian Studies.
